IF YOU VOTED WITH ANGER AND HATRED, THOSE THINGS WILL COME BACK TO YOU

If you voted with anger and hatred
(i.e., hate for Hillary; anger at the way things were going.)
Why are you surprised anger and hatred
are coming back at you?
(i.e., mobilized resistance, higher-than-ever and vocal involvement in politics by everyday people to protest the destruction of laws and policies previously in place to protect people and resources.)
Do you continue in your anger and hatred?
(i.e., "we put up with your agenda for eight years, not it's our turn"--
which is not really accurate. Though there has been a Democratic president
for eight years, the U.S. Congress was not controlled by Democrats during that time,
but a majority of Republicans who used many less-than-honorable methods to obstruct proposed legislation and even a budget for the country.)
Or are you pursuing thoughtful, inclusive discussion and involvement to help resolve the difficult issues facing our country?
(i.e., does your city have community/neighborhood meetings or do you go to local school board meetings? Do you know when your city council meets and offer suggestions about issues being considered? Do you know who your county commissioners are and what issues they are considering? Do you know when your state legislature is in session and track bills of interest to you? What are your interests and how are you contributing to the benefit of all?)
